..death and destruction
..death and destruction

Is time has come?

I ask the plants:

Why I’m keep on breathing?

I ask the water:

Why I can quench my thirst?

I ask the land below my feet:

Why I’m still standing?

I ask the fire:

Why my heart continuously gleams?

An echoing voice answered-

It was the gift of life

Embedded with love

We earthlings inherit-

From the creators palm,

He gave tremendous energy

Now our Mother Nature possesses this.

Sustaining the life on earth

She- who dwells with us

Like a mother to her child,

But earthlings greed!

Carried by the selfish ambition

They turn to be bad

Mother Nature cries in blood

Destruction becomes sickness

Earth weakened day by day

Now she choose-

To put an iron hand!-

To teach her child,

A lesson that will strike

Calamities happen like a thief,

Attack when least expected.

Typhoon, erosion, earthquake, fire, plague…

Cause the death of hundreds… thousands, even million people.

And left the agony of billions

Is she happy?

No…no… of course she is not!

She feels the strong pain

Double than we do

But she have to do it…

To make us change for good

And let the stain in our heart

The cancer in our mind be perished

Never to exist again

Make it heal from desires

From blindness and numbness

To make us stand with everyone

For a common goal

To save the earth from end

Make our Mother Nature smile again

Prove our worth as earthlings-

Who inherit the earth!

From its Creator without beginning…and without end!

The source of everlasting power,

The source of everything.

she feels the pain, double than we do..
she feels the pain, double than we do..

...ponder this

Expectedly or unexpectedly we’re facing world calamities that sometimes came out of the blue or we already informed but never thought and imagine how vast the destruction and turmoil it might cause. We just realized everything like a forlorn face of the earth always blaming God, our creator after these incidents happened without even realizing that we were also responsible. Yeah- these are natural phenomenon but ponder it again, we’re looking with blurry eyes, most of the time we are blind to see that a great part of its effects (of these calamities) were due to our ruthless treatment with the earthly energy dwelling with us- our Mother Nature.. what percentage do you think is our share in the aftermath chaos?...

At least natural disasters kill fast and end fast. The pollution in the cities kill people slowly, torturing them will all the health problems before a slow and, probably, painful death.

I write a lot (not much here on HP) on the subject of survival. Most survivalists are infatuated with their admittedly fun tools and how much food, water, ammunition, etc. that they've stored. The not so funny thing is most people look down on the people who live in third world countries. The people that live in what we consider abject poverty fishing for their next meal and making baskets from the local plants. But, we as 'civilized' people would not survive long after many of those disasters you talked about. The 'primitives' living today would outlast almost all of us if something truly catastrophic happened. Guess the poor really would inherit the earth. Just another perspective to add to the mix. I enjoyed yours.

Thank you very much for your perspective, yes I agree! We can't really tell, so I guess never ever underestimate the people around us, we'll never know. ^_^
